Why is J B Edlington & Co Ltd no longer trading?

After 157 years in business, the Directors decided to close the company in late 2022. As you can imagine, it was a difficult decision for a family business.

And they didn’t want to leave their customers stuck for spares.

So, one of the Directors, Susan Edlington, is now supplying WeedSwiper spares as part of a new company: S and S Edlington Ltd. (The other ‘S’ is Sara Edlington, Susan’s daughter, so this is also a family company.)

Just so you know, we don’t manufacture the Edlington WeedSwiper; we only provide spare parts for it.
